Would updating to 1.6 actually help anything with Dolphin?

fixes minor bugs and adds eight new extensions , fix minor bug ?

I'd rather have seen a changelist rather than a download, which is pretty useless for me.
The question is if any of those bugs actually affect us. I doubt it.

doesn't seem to be related to dolphin at all, unless you're planning on supporting OGL 4.x I guess...

Updating does make building easier for users, since most OSs only pack the latest versions of glew; and since binaries are only provided for win32, most users will actually have to build dolphin.
glew1.7 is in my OS's repositories, but I need to download and build glew1.6 myself to build dolphin, along with any other outdated dependencies it may have itself.
