Description

What's the problem?

In games that requires motion plus, using the new wii remote plus, the motion plus is not recognized... It's like a normal wiimote. It worked only a few times with the same settings. And sometimes it disconnects... Wiimote it's original, the nintendo logo is written everywhere...

Dolphin version with the problem (as it appears in the title bar, Ex.: "R
4779" or "R 6403M"):

R7607
(optional) Dolphin version that does not have the problem:

Operating system and version:
32-bit or 64-bit:
Windows 7 64 bit and 32 bit (Dual boot)

Game ID (as it appears in game properties, Ex.: "GZ2P01" or "RSBE01"):

Wii sport resort ( RZTP01 ), red steel 2 ( RD2X41 )

Build command-line (not on Windows):

Was the ISO a plain dump from disc, compressed and/or scrubbed?

Scrubbed

Please provide any additional information below.

I read that this new wii remote plus is working, so I really don't know why it's not working as it should...

A real Wiimote with a Wii Motion Plus integrated, huh?...

Does this problem "disappear" if you set only one Wiimote (the WM+ one) and set the other 3 Wiimotes to "None"? (Does it disappear if you use r7271 or older? Do the disconnects (but not the lagging) disappear if you use r7272 through r7393?)

If so, then it may be related to issue 4608...

Wait now I test!:) So let's try setting all wiimotes except #1 to none, if it works I have to test r7271?:)

The motion plus of my Wii Remote Plus is recognised in every supported game that I have (r7612 - Windows XP 32-bit)

Ok, so my wii remote plus should have some problems, because my wiimote with wii motion plus work perfectly, the wii remote plus not...

I have this issue with a fake Wiimote Plus (Plus inside/inbuild) sometimes it is recognized as a normal wiimote sometimes as Wiimote Plus. Sometimes it drops back from Plus to normal.
I tested this with Sports Resort.

Mine was original... Anyway the shop confirmed it had some problems, and it should be original!

So, is that a Dolphin issue, or a "defective" Wii Motion Plus?

I'm waiting for the new wiimoteplus, the old was totally defective, now I'm waiting for the new one!:)

FWIW, fake/generic Wii Remote Plus and Dolphin don't mix. Actually, these pieces of junk came mostly defective (i got one these days: it failed to connect with cwiid/GlovePIE, and while Dolphin recognized it, it disconnected as soon as the game starts.

Finally i sent the defective thing back to the seller and exchanged with a regular one (actually, i DID ordered a normal controller, but they sent a WM+ because that was what they had in stock). So be aware when purchasing your Wiimotes from the Internet, since it's flooded with generic/fake crap that even sellers can't distinguish from the original thing.

I bought it from a shop online, where they said WM+ was original, the american versione with CE mark... I recieved Japan version, without CE, not original, and malfunctioning... It's about 1 month that I'm waiting for exchange...

It was clearly due to a defective Wii remote plus, so I think this "issue" can be closed
