Uh, adding the video backend to the gui in https://github.com/john-peterson/dolphin-emu/commit/d3054763eb0e89d080d4bd31009ae79a0d3d6733 seems ok. The rest of that commit seems pointless to me.

Please don't make more use of the connect_macro mess, it's awkward and plain wx connections should be used instead.

Also, "// 2.9.2 drawing bug" isn't particularly descriptive for anyone who hasn't ever heard of that bug. There should at least be a link to a description of that bug, or better yet an explanation within the source code comments.

Issue 4980 has been merged into this issue.

I request more discussion for these pull requests

Perhaps there would be more discussion if you discussed it here, instead of on github where no one will ever see what you say.

A lot of https://github.com/mirror/dolphin-emu/pull/2 seems no longer applicable.
