LUIGI'S MANSION - GLME01
-
When waiting at the start screen or starting a new game and viewing the in-engine introduction (When Luigi looks at his map and sees the mansion for the first time). The gates to the mansion (just past E. Gadd's wooden shed) show the texture of the iron grating on a black background, showing no transparency at all: the whole 3D plane is black with the superimposed metal grating texture.
The same happens to the metal spikes on the stone brick walls around it: A long black plane along the top of the stone brick walls show the textured spikes yet misses transparency.
The effect is also noticeable on the grass spots around the tombstones past the gates themselves and the trees in the background (making a clear black cut in the sky where it should show dim light trough the "tree" textured background 3D plane. We see it also when the camera focuses on the crows on the lower left of the screen.
Normally we should only see the metal spikes and see through the rest of the texture. Other texture transparency (such as the cobwebs and the ghost themselves) in the game seems to display normally with no problems, though I have not played through the game to confirm this fact. The problem may be present in other farther areas as well...
- Dolphin used to show this transparency correctly, not too far back in memory, though I can't pinpoint when it stopped working... Videos on Youtube showcasing Dolphin in HD have both the problematic and correct versions.
A video showing the correct transparency:

Another that is one year old:

A 7 months old video (look at 50 seconds in) showing the incorrect transparency:

4) What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Execute Dolphin, use either DirectX9, DirectX11 or OpenGL renderer and start a new game.
- Play through to the start menu and either wait or start a new game to see the introduction.
- I have used the latest stable Dolphin (3.5 and 3.5-124), 64 bit version. I have a windows 7 laptop with an AMD Radeon HD 6570M Graphics card and a Windows 7 Desktop with an NVIDIA GeForce GTS 250, latest drivers from manufacturer (just updated).
6) Please provide any additional information below.
I have tried about every graphic configuration in the options, and nothing fixes this problem, even the most precise and ressource intensive options. I'm returning to the default configuration without success.
