Emulator Issues #6103
closedDolphin removes paired/authenticated Wiimote on exit since rev 3.5-471 (real-wiimote-scanning) using Microsoft-Stack

Description
What went wrong?¶
i'm using WiiPair (http://www.richlynch.com/code/wiipair) to establish a permanent pairing of my wiimotes with MS bluetooth-stack. this way before 471 i just had to press a single button on the wiimote and start up dolphin, and the wiimote was usable instantly. closing dolphin kept the wiimote online and paired, waiting to be used again by dolphin or any other tool (e.g. glovepie or wiimouse).
now with 471 the behaviour is the same up until exiting dolphin. now when i exit dolphin, the wiimote gets completely removed from the bluetooth devices (and thus unpaired) and the HID-device gets removed. now i would have to create a new permanent pairing with WiiPair, etc. well actually it completely negates the meaning of the permanent pairing.
What did you expect to happen?¶
imho dolphin shouldn't mess with the bluetooth devices or remove them, if it is not intended by the user. or please at least implement an option "do not unpair/remove wiimotes on exiting dolphin" or something like that.
What steps will reproduce the problem?¶
- create permanent pairing on MS-stack (e.g. with "WiiPair")
- start dolphin
- close dolphin
- paired and authenticated wiimote vanishes from bluetooth devices and HID-devices.
What version of Dolphin were you using?¶
the issue happens from rev 3.5-471 (merging of branch "real-wiimote-scanning") up until the most recent one 3.5-1030.
64 or 32 bit Dolphin?¶
tested on 64bit
What version of Dolphin used to work?¶
the ones before 3.5-471.
What Operating System were you using and what are your hardware specifications?¶
- Windows 7 x64
- Original Nintendo Motion Plus Inside Wiimotes (non-TR)
- Asus bt211 Bluetooth Adapter
