Description

Game Name?
Monster Hunter Tri (E/PAL)

Game ID?
RMHP08

What went wrong?
Going into the village (single player mode) freezes (sometimes during the loading screen, sometimes after the screen turns black and the village should appear)

What did you expect to happen?
Normal loading screen, spawning in the village.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  • download the current (or previous) wii-network builds
  • start the game
  • load a character
  • select village
  • wait
  • freeze

What version of Dolphin were you using?
I tested it on 3.5-1237 [wii-network] and some previous builds I don't remember.
I also tested some custom wii-network builds (merged with current master, Monster Hunter Tri Bloom hack/patch (I updated it for the current master) built in).
The arena and multiplayer mode both work as expected.

64 or 32 bit Dolphin?
64 bit

What version of Dolphin used to work?
The current Dolphin master build (3.5-1190) is working properly (except for that f***ing bloom (DX11 and EFB access enabled fixes this partially, there is still a strip of bloomed graphics and it is horribly slow. See attachment, but that is probably another issue.)

What Operating System were you using and what are your hardware
specifications?
Windows 7, 64bit
Intel Core i5 2500k, overclocked to 4.635GHz
16 GB RAM
nVidia Geforce GTX 460 (also slightly overclocked), 1GB RAM

The complete log was > 150MB in size, so I didn't want to upload it anywhere with my internet connection ;)
The game seems to jump into an infinte loop, I had a look at the debugger and it ran the same instructions over and over and ...
