Game Name? Legend of zelda and the wind waker

Game ID? GZLE01

What went wrong? i am getting ready to go to the merchants island after a scene where i see a talking boat, and theres a hanging black screen.

What did you expect to happen instead? i think i should have been ready to explore the island

What steps will reproduce the problem?

1. i start of at the forbidden fortress after the sisiter of the playable character is captured by a bird monster.
   2.when i reach the end of the forbidden fortress, i fight this last monster to get past through a door with the sister and a few other girls.
2. this is when a scene occurs where the bird comes down and captures me in its beak and throws me into the water after showing me to a mysterious man.
3. someone is speaking to u and u wake up seeing ur on a boat.
4. the boat moves its head and talks an tells u he will help u but first he needs a sail.
5. he says they r at the merchants island where i can get the sail and the screen dims away.
   7 instead of me on the island it hangs a black screen.

Dolphin 3.5 and Dolphin 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have

Any other relevant information? i did use cheats before i got there, and when i realize it was hanging, i restarted it without the cheats and loaded on a savestate, and the same thing still occurred.
