Emulator Issues #7346
closedDisable per game options for enforced configurations
0%
Description
Several games force certain compatibility by requiring LLE Audio, MMU or other stuff to run correctly without crashes and other complications.
Still, the options HLE audio or MMU remained interactive within each per-game dialogue, despite not having any effect for these games.
I believe it'll be best to gray out the options (and display their locked state in the dialogue), instead of tricking the user into believing it actual does do something.
This was the case for Zelda TWW quite a few builds ago (pre Zelda ucode cleanup) and quite a few more games fall into this roster.

You can change this in the game properties page, and it actually does change it. I'm fairly certain if I'm understanding you that this is invalid.

After reading it carefully i think he means that options in the game properties don't change during emulation and should be grayed out because of it when a game runs.

i screwed up. never mind me and this issue. Im with stupid and you are gods >_<
P.S. adding a remark about these options taking effect only after a restart would be good though!

Options you can't change are already greyed up when you run the game, like HLE audio. But that's no longer an issue since no game forces LLE audio anymore since 4.0-1302. Options you can change, like the graphics options, will change automatically when you open the graphics configuration window, and will match what you see there. I don't really see a need for this kind of thing.
