Description

Game Name?

N/A, I think (I was testing with Harmonium: http://wiibrew.org/wiki/Harmonium which I selected because it was small)

Game ID?
N/A

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.

During emulation, the screen is blank, however, when using the screenshot function, the screenshots taken does show the game correctly.

What did you expect to happen instead?

Both the on-screen display and the screenshots should show the game, like the Windows build of the emulator does.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Go onto a device where Software Renderer is the only rendering option
2.Start Harmonium
3.You should see a blank screen
4.Tap the Back button
5.Choose Take Screenshot
6.Navigate with a file manager to /sdcard/dolphin-emu/Screenshots/00000000/
7.there should be screenshots that display the game

Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?

4.0-1778, 4.0-1904

Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?

Not tested.

What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)

Android 4.4.2 (stock firmware, KOT49H), Nexus 7 (2012), Nvidia Tegra 3. Note that this device does not support OpenGL ES 3, so only the fallback software renderer is available.

Are you using the 32 or the 64 bit version of Dolphin?

32-bit ARM.

Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)
N/A.

Here's a GL Tracer log from Android Device Monitor: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B-fqnmBSesbtUUllTHJaWGx4TGc/edit?usp=sharing

Once you get to around frame 30, you can see that the texture is being uploaded correctly to Context 2, and the drawing calls seem correct, however, nothing shows up.

This particular bug only affects Tegra 3 and Tegra 4 devices.
I haven't looked too far in to it since this is unsupported hardware and I couldn't be arsed to figure out why it is failing on such a simple draw command.

  • Status changed from New to Won't fix

Sonicadvance stated he does not support the Tegra 3 or 4.
