The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker - GLZP01

MD5 Checksum - 9841cc876fb7be6c61ead51deeabf280 verified with redump having the same checksum.

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.

After the credits roll and you watch the final cutscene of Link and Tetra sailing off, the game hangs after the fade to black.

What did you expect to happen instead?

Like the NTSC and NTSC-J versions, I expected to go back to the menu and play

What steps will reproduce the problem?
[Don't assume we have ever played the game and know any level names. Be as
specific as possible.]

  1. Beat the game.
    Using this save (http://db.gamefaqs.com/console/gamecube/save/zelda_the_wind_waker_eu_a.gci) here are the steps to beat the game.
  2. Walk forward. Go through the doors, blah blah. Once you're in the reflection pool, go into the purple pot and it'll spit you up top. Use the hookshot to grapple to pull you up to the door out.
  3. During the Ganondorf fight, it's really easy. Whenever he does his three hit combo, just back away and then do the reaction attack with A (will not work if you're shield is up) and hit him a few times. After that, he knocks out Zelda and you do the same thing. During phase 3, you attempt to do that and he'll block it. After a while, Zelda will say, let's try something else, I'll shoot at you. Hold out your shield, you'll reflect the next golden arrow at Ganondorf. As he's coming out of the stun, teh reaction "A" will show up. Hit A, and the fight is over. Then just wait through the credits.

Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?

This issue has been reported on the forums for years. I confirmed it on 4.0-2109

4.0 didn't work either. Not going to attempt older builds, 3.5 hanged twice on me while just trying to get to the boss. Hurray.
