Description
Game Name?
Xenoblade Chronicles
Game ID?
SX4E01
What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
Haze effects emitted from Nebula's get covered when the enemy passes over the image of the Mechonis
What did you expect to happen instead?
Part of the Nebula wouldn't be obscured by an entity in the background
What steps will reproduce the problem?
The Nebula likes to meander in circles, but in the FIFOs I caught this issue is presented rather clearly. It's not the easiest thing to reproduce but what I did was...
- Go to Hovering Reef 10 in Eryth Sea at Night
- Position the camera towards the Mechonis at about the area I'm standing in. On the other side of the hole in the middle of the island gives a good vantage point.
- Wait for the green Bono Nebula to wander in the general area where the Mechonis can be seen in the distance and look at it's haze effects.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
4.0-5357
Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
I haven't tested on older versions, and this issue seems rather easy to overlook.
What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)
Windows 7 x64 (SP1)
nVidia GeForce GTX 760 (Gigabyte GV-N760OC-2GD REV2.0)
Intel Core i7-4770
8GB G.Skill Sniper Low Voltage edition
Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,

I've tried turning off enhancements, moving to Safe Texture Cache, and switching to EFB RAM, but it still happens. Any XFB doesn't render the scene for me.
Also, holy cow what happened to my first two FIFOs? At least the 3rd one renders okay... I think I took those when I had performance issues after updating. You can find my thread talking about that on the Support forum.
