Real-Wiimote does not reconnect if you switch it off and switch it on

Description
The issue is reproduceable in every game.
You connect one real-wiimote, push the power-off button on the remote and push it again to switch the remote on.
The wiimote is not connected in the game. If you disconnect the nunchuk and connect it again you can use the remote again.
Something i noticed:
If i power off the wiimote, i see no log message, that the wiimote is disconnected. Maybe Dolphin does not react on the power off switch of the wiimote?

Yeah; Dolphin doesn't realize the Wiimote is disconnected. It doesn't have the same level of control that a Wii does over them.
In fact, when you "idle" a Wiimote in Dolphin, it never turns off either, it just "disconnects" and flashes waiting to be reconnected. Hit a single button (thanks to AdmiralCurtiss's brilliant change) and it reconnects are per normal. on a real Wii this would actually turn off the Wiimote, but we can't do that. To add to that, we can't "see" when the Wiimote turns off as well.
As such I really don't see this getting fixed. If you're really persistent that this behavior needs to get changed, I could reopen this for a few days to see if any other developers add in some kind of input that could clear things up further, but honestly I don't see anything happening with it.
Ok i thought, the wiimote does send a power off command which dolphin can handle.
My use case is, when you connected two wiimotes but would change the order of the wiimotes.
When i want to change the order i power off both wiimotes and power one the first and second wiimote while the emulator is running. When i do this, the wiimotes are not any longer recognized in dolphin. I can push the a button but it does not solve the problem.
If you know the issue and know to handle it, it is ok with the issue. But if you don't know to handle it, you must close the emulator and must restart it which can be a little bit annoying if you play with other peoples.
We may be able to do the power off thing; but on most bluetooths (non-DolphinBar) re-pairing Wiimotes has to be manually done and is not something we want to force users to do.
On Wiimotion+; you have to manually sync with the red button. On Toshiba Stack, you have to start pairing mode, then hit the red sync button, etc.
I still don't think it's worth just doing this for the DolphinBar even if we can. Imagine most users having to resync their Wiimote every time it disconnects.
I understand what you mean. First i tried it too with a bluetooth adapter but the paring thing is very annoying and if you want to use IR you can indeed buy a wireless sensor bar but the range of the bar is to poor and the battery waste is to high if you play a lot. All dolphin user should buy a dolphin bar (which cost maximum 35$) which solve a lot of problems. If buy all things separately (bluetooth adapter, wireless sensor bar, batteries) you have nearly the same costs. Maybe, if it is no big thing, you can implement it anyway?
Furthermore, i wonder why the dolphin bar is not descriped on the main page on "http://www.dolphin-emulator.com/", this was the page where i has started with dolphin.
Ah ok sorry, i thought that site is owned by you. I wanted only say, that the dolphin bar saved me a lot of time and solved a lot of problems.
No, we don't have any control over that site at all. It's unfortunate, because people tend to end up there and get outdated information and builds.
Its truly right, this site should be closed. You got there builds which are over 2 years old. Other people are thinking the sites are related too probably. If you type "dolphin emulator" in google the first two entries are (on my machine) www.dolphin-emulator.com :((
