What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

After a long multiplayer session, I entered Story Mode and went into the developer room. Nobody had textures.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Well, since it was likely caused by me playing too long, it might take a while to reproduce... Just play about an hour or so of multiplayer games then enter story mode?

Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?

4.0-8660

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

Windows 7 x64
Intel i7 4770
nVidia GeForce GTX 760 (GV-N760OC-2GD REV2.0) 2GB GDDR5
8GB G.Skill Sniper Low-Voltage series @ 1600MHz 9-9-9-24

Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)

Texture cache accuracy was on Safe, Dual-Core was enabled

Oddly, when I started up Story Mode and spawned outside my house, the textures looked fine.

Whoops. It was captured on 8860, not 8660.

I hate to ask this; but can you reproduce this issue in single core? I recently got this game and haven't run into this issue yet. My difference is that I refuse to use dualcore any longer.

I have a GTX 760 as well.

A top dev refusing to use dual core?

Well it looks like SOMEBODY's got their work cut out for them.

Anywho, aww man. I'm not sure if I can deliver on that one JMC...

Top secret: Dualcore is likely on its way out.

But seriously, I'll obviously use dualcore to try to help with this issue. I mean for personal use, I don't use it because it brings too much pain and trauma to the experience. Hoststate leaking into emulated state? No thank you.

I also refuse to use dual core these days.

Causes so many random issues.

Jesus H. Christ. I mean, I know Dual Core causes silly issues like this, but to think that such a massive enhancement is on the way out? Well, I guess x86 and D3D9 were flowing towards the inevitable too...

Do you think single cored performance will be able to pull the slack? I'm sure that some people with weaker computers won't be very happy. But you guys know what you're doing, so I have faith.

We're not insane enough to remove dualcore without coming up with a replacement. At least they aren't, I totally am.

Anyway, this is my off-topic rant about dualcore. I promise I'll try to reproduce this issue so we can figure out what caused it, even if it was dualcore.

Heh heh. Don't sweat it too much! Although this looks like a pretty gnarly bug, we played matches with all sorts of characters on all sorts of stages before I entered Story Mode to show them the dev room. At as I said, at first things looked normal before I entered the room.

So this one goes into the long list of "dualcore probably caused it."
