What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
The game will hang when viewing bowser's castle in the intro sequence.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
Starting the game and playing through the intro should reproduce this bug.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?
Tested on version 4.0 8849, earlier versions would display the memory stride notification, but now the game just hangs.
What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)
CPU: Intel i5-4200H 2.8GHz
GPU: GTX 860m
OS: Windows 10
RAM: 8 gigs

Having the same issue, buddy. I posted a report too. Hopefully our issue is solved soon.

I thought forcing EFB2RAM would avoid this error?

How do you "force" EFB2RAM? I've unchecked EFB to Texture (so it will be EFB2RAM) but it still hangs at the same point.
