Thanks for taking this for a more proper place. Sorry if I seemed someone like a dick, but, I'm not going to let someone override something on the wiki without being able to prove it.
Regardless: the code still works for me on NTSC and PAL. You said it worked for you at one point, right? Please find the real build that broke it for you instead of pointing to random builds.

Will a youtube video work?

No, I've never tried it before a few days ago. The patch in the blog works with speedlimit set to 200%, but the Gecko code on the wiki does nothing. It doesn't even change the game physics.

I update to the latest dev build roughly every 3 days. I'm not just pointing to random builds.

Here's a link to the raw video since youtube downscaled it too far

- Status changed from New to Invalid
You have "Enable Cheats" unchecked. That makes Gecko codes not work.

Oh. Well, thank you
How come I have to open graphics settings for it to work?
Updated by JMC4789 about 9 years ago
The game defaults onto EFB2RAM; it's very possible that it's too demanding for you to run at 60 FPS without that setting disabled, which opening the graphics settings disables defaults.
