What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

Upon talking to certain NPCs and store clerks in Alfitaria, the game displays one of the following messages and renders it unplayable until restarted. This renders vital item sources as game-breaking.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Visit the town of Alfitaria in the game and talk to certain NPCs (Mainly store vendors)

Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?

I had Dolphin in windowed mode, playing with keyboard.
The error did not produce a crash log. The log file is blank.
Reproduction capture is in this ticket https://bugs.dolphin-emu.org/issues/9384. I would have added additional info or bumped this thread, but the site wouldn't allow me to, even when logged in.
