An image of my BSoD
I always have my Official Wii U GameCube Controller Adapter plugged in to my front panel so I can play whenever I feel like it. Also, my motherboard's built-in Bluetooth module has a tendency to not be recognized for no reason at all, for what it's worth.
Although not relevant to the issue, after trying to uninstall UsbDK through the executable in its Program Files folder, my computer no longer blue screened. But Dolphin then crashed whenever loading up the game list. I later figured out how to uninstall it properly (through Uninstall or change a program) and that successfully got me back to square one.

Also it makes Steam forget my password when I reboot afterwards. Thanks UsbDk.

- Priority changed from Normal to Immediate
I personally wanted this documented here even if it's a bug in usbdk so that we had a place to look at it and link to.

I also forgot to mention he ^ sent me here.
Thanks for helping me out again, JMC!

For the record, I could not reproduce this on Windows 10—it might be Windows 7 only.

Installed the latest version of USBDK on my fully up to date Windows 10... Do not do this... I had to do a full re-install of my OS since I couldn't boot into Windows anymore "Something went wrong"-error and a Page fault in Non-Paged area occurred.

I did this just to see and it installed/worked properly. I'm not liking these issues though.

I agree theincrediblemastere and mstreurman. The usbDk "amortise" Windows 7! A driver without a digital signature. When all existing USB connection "ceased", it announced that it will not work due to lack of signature. System Restore and USB 3.0 drivers for Windows 7 again good.
I stood in the back 5.0-2341 Master version.
Update!
GMT 20:40 - leoetlino about an improvement eliminated the mandatory usbDk!
libusb go back, the Skylanders Portal again good, operate the games!
Thanks JMC4789, Thanks leoetlino! Version 5.0-2472 Master good!

- Status changed from New to Fixed
- Fixed in set to 5.0-2472
- Operating system Windows added
- Operating system deleted (
N/A)
Since 5.0-2472, usbdk is not mandatory anymore. If it is installed – it will be used, as it is still the only way to have working isochronous transfers on Windows, and it does have benefits. If it is not, or if you do not want to, libusb will fall back to the old, unmaintained WinUSB backend.
To everyone affected: apologies about this. We have tested usbdk on separate Windows 10 machines and in VMs and we have never found any issues, so we assumed that it would be safe to switch to usbdk on Windows.
PS: the signature issue is an old Windows 7 bug which should not occur if your system is fully up-to-date.

Well, with that it's fixed. Shame UsbDk didn't come up in roses for Windows 7 users. Its upsides really were neat!
Also, for whatever this may be worth now, I found a memory dump made by Dolphin. I'm not sure if it was made when Dolphin was crashing during execution or when the BSoD was triggered, but surely it must be useful for something right?
