Description

Game Name?

Super Hang-on, most other Sega VC Arcade titles.

Game ID? (right click the game in the game list, properties, info tab)

E5ZE8P, others consult the wiki

MD5 Hash? (right click the game in the game list, properties, info tab, MD5 Hash: Compute)

36bd2451233761e624b69c5c1c95756b

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

The right-most column of rendered tiles seems to be out of sync with other rendering. Unclear, but it looks like that column may be a step behind the others.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Start title, await demo, observe right-most tiles.

Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?

5.0-2245

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

Intel i7-6700k, NVIDIA GeForce 970

Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)

These games use strided XFB copies, is it possible we're desynced?

I cannot reproduce this issue in Super Hang-On, E5ZE8P

Please confirm all GPU settings if you can, I used RealXFB in order to get the image output to look correct.

Yeah, not sure.

Here's a screenshot...

Issue seems to occur regardless of my XFB setting, as we overwrite it via the GameINI, which also sets a texture cache setting.

I think I have my settings aligned with defaults (really wish we had a button to do so). General: OpenGL, Vsync; Enhancements: Scaled EFB, Force 24b; Hacks: Skip EFB unckecked; Advanced: All unchecked

Keep in mind that the pre-defined game INIs for downloadable Wii software currently are broken because Dolphin is using an unexpected game ID format (as you can see in the filename of JMC's screenshot).

EDIT: The game ID problem isn't in the version indicated in the issue report, though. And everything is working fine for JMC, so I'm guessing this isn't the reason for any of the issues.

Have you tried turning off dualcore?

Actions #7

Updated by kolano almost 8 years ago

That's it. Dual Core on is our default, so it's you who had the non-standard settings :~b

Actions #8

Updated by JMC4789 almost 8 years ago

I always have dualcore off so that should be obvious. I consider Dualcore to be non-default, even if it goes against the definition almost exactly.

More INI stuff for ya, JosJuice.

On that. You may want to review the Config Required categories on the Wiki for batches of other titles requiring config adjustments...

JMC's image shows the correct output with dual-core off.

JMC's also seems to be stretching the image to widescreen, so again possibly mis-aligned with default settings.
