I think he means s.th. like:
If i start Mario Kart Wii and drive around in TimeTrail the fps show 60, but actually
the game runs slower than that, because if i watch the clock 1 second in mk wii is
~2sec in real life :D

An example for me would be when I play ZTP and the fps show-up as 45fps, but it is
obvious that I am really only getting around 15fps judging by how slowly Link is moving.

Disregard that chaos, he's using a hacked version of the emulator.

You see what you have done Caco? Apparently it's become a bit of an "issue." xD
LOL, just joking man.

Go to the properties and set watchdog to 60.
OFFTOPIC
Core2uu, it became an issue for me, some idiot is spamming my mailbox with
subscriptions. I wonder if any other user here at googlecode has had the same
problems with this guy.

Actually I dont use a "hacked" versioan of dolphin. Compiled with the watchdog once,
but it seemed you're only tweaking the fps counter with it.
BUT:
If i start Mario Kart Wii and drive around in TimeTrail the fps show 60, but actually
the game runs slower than that, because if i watch the clock 1 second in mk wii is
~2sec in real life :)
^^ This happens in normal dolphin

OFFTOPIC @Caco
I haven't had any such issue, no. Block him? :P

The FPS counter updates slowly and is fields per second, not 3D frames per second.
Updated by Nolan.Check over 15 years ago
FPS is indeed "fields per second". In interlaced mode, a "frame" is made of TWO
fields, upper and lower. One thing to remember is that some games may display the
same video for both fields.

I'm not sure who this "Caco" guy is and what makes him think I was using a "hacked"
version of Dolphin, but as it turns out, the FPS counter was recently fixed anyway.
Maybe Caco can use his mind reading powers for good instead of evil next time?
