Emulator

This is not really a issue as much as a feature... but roldolf tried to use
a 64 bit hashing method... so I figured I'd add it into CommonFuncs.h

check it over and give me some guidance here. I think I have the general
idea right here. It works under linux but if someone might want to try it
on mac osx for me that would be great.
