Description
I don't want to say it isn't clear how it works...
but for example:
Dolphin wiimote new configuration
-->Config
-->wiimote 1 or wiimote 2 or wiimote 3 etc...
-->configure
Why i have the tabs "Wiimote 1" "Wiimote 2" etc... etc...?
I think it will be more easy if there aren't these tabs. (or here or in the main config menĂ¹)

Sorry, but I disagree with you... It's completely clear the new wiimote plugin: As you click on the options of the wiimote new, you see 4 tabs, each for a wiimote and each containing the following options: Input Source (Which is very important to have for each different wiimote), Refresh (which is important for a real wiimote input source) and Configurations, to configure the buttons map... On the buttons map screen, there's 4 tabs to quick change between the wiimotes configurations without having to go back, change tab, and click configuration....
So, I completely disagree with you: The wiimote new configuration screen is clear as it is and every tab is necessary for easiness or simply need.

- Status changed from New to Questionable
- Category set to ui
- Relates to usability set to Yes
I've thought about making the first little config window without tabs.
There could just be 4 choice boxes(like where you pick "Standard Controller" for Gamecube controllers in the main config) and 4 config buttons next to them.
There would still only need to be one pair-up and refresh button.
Is this what you are talking about?

about TABS:
Probably it will be more easy and faster your idea (if you mean like the gamecube configuration settings window). Or also you can just Delete the first window and make access directly to the second one adding the pair, refresh button and the selected device (emulated, none, hybrid, real),
About PLUGINS:
dolphin main window
CONFIG--> GAMECUBE
is it a configuration window for the emulated gamecube right?
but the plugins seems to works in pair with the new wiimote plugin.
Writing simple: If i set a standard controller in port 1 of GAMECUBE CONFIG WINDOW it is read automatically like if is plugged inside the wii console.
That can makes a lot of troubles (ever talking if the user uses emulated devices) in some wii games because the game read the gamecube standard controller and the wiimote controller like two different devices (so for the wii game you have 2 controllers plugged in).
:The game reads two player, with two controllers and you have maybe one controller (used for both wii and gamecube games) with the same or similar keys/button mapping.
I don't know if it's something wanted or not. But maybe you can also put a check/unchecked button "USE GAMECUBE CONTROLLER" in order to prevent conflicts or problems.

I partially agree. Having a main window for the wiimote plugin and then another config window for configuring buttons is silly. And yes, there ought to be a checkbox enabling/disabling GCN controllers during Wii emulation.
Other than that, though, the plugin is clear and actually fun to set up. It would be nice if the emulator had a USB passthrough for things like Wii Rock Band controllers that don't use the controller as an extension of the Wiimote.

What would be clearer to me:
- Move "Real Wiimotes" out of the tab panel because it applies to all tabs. It's placement within the tab panel makes me think it is different per tab.
- Only enable the "Emulated Wiimote" group and "Configure" button if the "Emulated Wiimote" item is selected in the drop down list box.
In general I'd like to see no tabs, just 4 rows with 4 fields in each (label, dropdown-listbox, button, and a status label).
For example:
Wiimote #1: [Input [v]] [configure] connected
Wiimote #2: [Input [v]] [configure] connected
Wiimote #3: [Input [v]] [configure] disconnected
Wiimote #4: [Input [v]] [configure] disconnected
[refesh] [pair up]
[ok]
Other thoughts:
- Call it "Controller" rather than "Input Source".
- Also, why do we need the "Connect Wiimote #" menus under the tools menu? What is the purpose if my wiimote works with them unchecked? It's just another source of confusion.
BTW: It might be more worth while getting multiple wiimotes actually working before we bother with this... ;-)

This is nitpicky, but I have to agree the layout discussed in Comment 6 sounds better.

What the English?!
Anyways I don't believe this is relevant anymore...

- Status changed from Won't fix to Questionable
The suggestion is that it is confusing to click a button labelled "Configure" next to "Emulated Wiimote 1" and then get presented with a dialog box that contains tabs for Wiimotes 2, 3, 4.

- Status changed from Questionable to Fixed
- Operating system N/A added
The initial wiimote config dialog was changed to something similar as was discussed.
Eliminating the tabs seems unnecessary.
