Description
What's the problem?
In a specific part of Tales of Symphonia (gc) the game freezes when using DX9 and DX11 plugins after r6451 and r6452 changes. The save is below
http://www.mediafire.com/?iyv8b428bz1qexc, just load the second file of "Slot a", go through the upper door, walk a bit and a cutscene starts, by the end of it i am getting a game freeze with both dx9 and dx11 plugins.
Dolphin version with the problem (as it appears in the title bar, Ex.: "R
4779" or "R 6403M"):
All the newest revs after r6452.
(optional) Dolphin version that does not have the problem:
R6450 doesn't have the issue.
Operating system and version:
32-bit or 64-bit:
Windows 7 x64 pro
Game ID (as it appears in game properties, Ex.: "GZ2P01" or "RSBE01"):
GQSEAF
Build command-line (not on Windows):
Was the ISO a plain dump from disc, compressed and/or scrubbed?
Compressed gamecube iso(.gcz).
Please provide any additional information below.
The opengl plugin when using newer revs doesn't freeze in that part. Windows 7 x64 turn off aero for the program when this happens, and fall back to windows basic.
I have a 9600gt and use 260.63 nvidia drivers.

I tested your save and don't have any freezes after defeat the boss in r6469.
I don't think r6451 and r6452 will break things.
May be you should change your settings, update your directx and delete the shadercache in your dolphin.

Thanks for the info, shadercache deletion didn't help, directx is updated but maybe it is corrupted. And weirdly now r6450 freeze too(it didn't before). Anyway thanks, it is probably a problem from my side and i will have to look into it. This issue can be closed.

Meh, nothing works, even a directx update. Weird problem.

I finally found the problem cause. Safe texture cache in "safe" causes it. Set in "normal" or "fast" doesn't, and the game needs safe texture cache to run properly. Tested it a dozen of times just to be certain.
