wjoy is working great on mavericks... it would be great to combine dolphin and wjoy!

#2, I am also using wjoy, but I cannot make my wiimote work in dolphin. Any ideas? Thx!

OpenEmu sees my wiimote and connects it right away. Dolphin cannot connect at all on v4.0. It did connect on 3.5 one time but again.

  • Status changed from New to Questionable

My pre-MotionPlus remote connects fine with latest Dolphin builds on Yosemite with a bit of retrying and fuckery. AFAIK, this might just be limited to -TR remotes.

Same here. Nothing happening with Dolphin on Yosemite. But syncs instantly with OpenEmu.

I have a regular Wiimote (not TR/MotionPlus), Dolphin 4.0 and OSX 10.9 Mavericks, and although it sometimes works, it is very unstable.

I was not able to pair the Wiimote in OSX Bluetooth settings, with a lot of retries I get it in Dolphin, but it will disconnect sometimes with no reason. I'd love to get it work seamlessly, so my wife & kids could use it...

I'll try to figure out the passphrase for pairing, from things I've read on the internet.

Freezes when "Refresh is clicked". Need to Force Quit.

I looked at the code. Would it work if we rewrote the C++ Bluetooth scanning in Mac OS X's Objective C's frameworks?

having same problem here on mid-2014 macbook pro, tried both types of wiimotes neither connects to dolphin but works fine with wjoy :(

Running Yosemite here, a non -TR wiimote is working fine with OpenEMU and pairs fine with the system dialogue. However, Dolphin freezes when Refresh is clicked and Continuous Scanning doesn't freeze but doesn't connect either.

Dolphin unfreezes once it's done scanning. IIRC, the only way I can get it to connect is with Continuous Scanning off and numerous retries.

I can get it to work fine if I start the Wiimote syncing before I hit Refresh. I think the enumeration might just take too long.
