closedFeature Request: xBR shader and xBRZ filter for Dolphin
0%
Description
Could you please implement xBR shader or xBRZ filter or both in Dolphin. It would be very beneficial for 2D and sprite-based games.
Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)

Can you at least provide a link to source code or documentation?

Unfortunately I am not programmist and I am not skilled enough to implement this myself so I cant do any pull-requests . Thats why I opened this feature request. But I think XBR/XBRZ would be very useful.

You mean link to source code of XBR and XBRZ ?
Updated by MayImilae about 11 years ago
Exactly. You are asking other people to do work, you might as well make it as easy as possible.

Okay I will try to do this quickly.

You don't have to be quick - this is an issue tracker. Get the right information and lots of it, then put it up all together.

Source Code for XBR is here: https://github.com/libretro/common-shaders and source code for XBRZ is in source code of hqMAME here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/hqmame/

I also found this: http://code.google.com/p/2dimagefilter/ . It has some xBR implementations. And other filters as well.

- Status changed from New to Won't fix
People implement what they like and what they think is useful, not what people ask for in a single line. If a feature request doesn't even explain what a certain feature is and why it is deemed useful, there's no point in having an issue report for it.
