What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
The Edgar Allen Poe quote shows for a brief moment, then goes black. The audio still plays. The Nintendo and Retro Studios videos play, but when the title screen is supposed to appear, it is completely black. The audio still plays and the controller seems to still function.
What did you expect to happen instead?
Expected the Edgar Allen Poe quote and the title screen to display correctly.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Use a recent (within a day or two) version of Dolphin.
- Run the game.
- Observe.
Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
4.0-1957, 4.0-1963
Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
Yes. 4.0-478

2 GHz Intel Core i7, 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3, Intel HD Graphics 4000
Are you using the 32 or the 64 bit version of Dolphin?
64 bit
Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)
In the old version of Dolphin, the game appears to run almost flawlessly. Can't get past the title screen in the new version in order to test further.
