Emulator Issues #7847
closedAllow Pal60/EuRGB60 to be set by ini file
0%
Description
Certain games have issues if Pal60/EuRGB60 is not set to a specific value.
For instance, the NTSC version of Punch Out will crash if Pal60 is enabled, while the European version of Tomb Raider: Anniversary will freeze if Pal60 is disabled.
It'd be nice to be able to set Pal60 mode in a game's INI settings file.

You should probably ask RachelB about it, i can't do it and she implemented most of these ini settings in the past. She told me that she will add it, perhaps she lost interest or forgot about it, who knows...

There are games that have serious problems with this option set one way or the other.

The PAL version of Tomb Raider: Anniversary crashes if Pal60 is disabled, while the NTSC version of Punch Out!! will crash if Pal60 is enabled.
Oddly, forcing Pal50 for Tomb Raider: Anniversary on an actual Wii will not cause any issues.

Small request, R96.ini compatibility information needs to be updated.
