Description

Game Name/ID?
Any, I'm testing with MarioKart Wii (RMCP01).

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
Dolphin on OS X builds 4.0-4508 or newer only accept one real Wii Remote at a time.

What did you expect to happen instead?
All 4 Wii Remotes to connect to dolphin simultaneously.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

  1. Make sure more than one, or all Wii Remotes are set to 'Real Wiimote', and Continuous Scanning is enabled.
  2. Launch game.
  3. Attempt to connect multiple Wii Remotes by pressing 1+2.

Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
Yes, any build earlier than 4.0-4508 (I used 4.0-4503, the last working build)

What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)
Tried multiple 10.10 Yosemite OSX machines, 10.10.1 and 10.10.2 both have this issue.

Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)

I don't care to test remotes myself at this exact moment, but I've generally heard enough "Wii Remotes are broken on OS X" complaints recently, e.g. Issue 6808, Issue 7928 and Issue 8029, that I'm just gonna auto-accept this.

@pauldacheez
Thankyou, and I'm happy to test multiple Wii remotes in any changes made.

Same issues with me with my Retina Mac (Highest spec) on 10.10.2

I had the same issue, I could only get ONE wiimote at a time on OS X 10.10.2 but this thread solved it for me by installing 4.0 build 4503 (the last working version before it was broken) The version that broke it says "WiimoteReal: use inheritance instead of #ifdef" So something bad happened there. But its apparently correctable! I've been using 3 wiimotes today for the first time on my iMac mid 2011! Happy children, happy me :)

This is fixed for me as of that commit, although multiple Wiimotes now illuminate the player 1 light.

Yes! Finally fixed! Tried with Kirby's dream land just a quickie. Regarding the player lights it starts with light no 1 on all remotes but corrects it self when starting a game, light 1,2,3,4 comes on respectively. It's always been like that for me, no problem.
Still takes a couple of tries though to get the remotes connect to the computer at all but when it finally does, it works great.
