Description

Game Name?
xenoblade chronicles

Game ID?
SX4E01

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.

When looking at the items collected in Collectopaedia no images are displayed for them.

What did you expect to happen instead?

The various sections; Veg, Fruit, Flower, are suppose to display an image of the item collected.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
[Don't assume we have ever played the game and know any level names. Be as
specific as possible.]

  1. There doesn't seem to be any steps to replicate this, meaning, it just appears to be a bug when you run the game.

Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?

4.0-5875

Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?

I have not tested this on any other version.

What are your PC specifications? (including, but not limited to: Operating
System, CPU and GPU)

Linux, i7-3610QM, Nvidia GTX 660M

Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)

I've tried changing EFB from texture to ram, but it didn't help.

When you look at that image, I collected; 2 Veg, 1 Fruit, 1 Flower, 1 Parts

Can't replicate it with either backend here using the same rev.

I'm compiling dolphin from source and I only have wxGTK-2.8.12 installed so it's using the internal wx.

Is the EFB from texture to ram the only thing that should be affecting this?

Or could there be some type of a different type of library file version from Distro to Distro that can affect this possibly? Meaning, being on a different distro, with all the various different libs, system file etc., could cause issues?

For Graphics these are my setttings;

What settings are you using?

It is probably a linux driver issue, i am using windows.

I bet it's an issue with fast depth.

Actions #6

I unchecked fast depth, it didn't change...

I tried a lot of different settings, I couldn't get anything to work.

Hopefully someone is using Linux and can test this out.

I just tried 4.0-5901 in Windows 7 x64 with OpenGL & D3D and it's still the same, I can't see the images...

Maybe it's an issue with custom textures?

Actions #9

Advanced > Load Custom Textures?

If so I'm not using any, I do however have the HD Texture Pack for it, and I've tried it with it and without it, doesn't make any difference

Press "a" to record the creature/plant/thingy to the collectopaedia. Only after you press record will it appear. It's like a scrapbook, not only do you pick up the thingy, you have to move it from your inventory into the scrapbook.

Ahhh well it does seem odd that the boxs show up blank instead of crossed out, made me think they were just missing...

Also what does it mean after I fill up a section it asks me as example to take a power up? Like HP Up... Everytime I filled up a section it asked me if I want to take all or end...

thanks
