Description

Game Name?

Metroid Prime 2 (Trilogy)

Game ID? (right click the game in the game list, properties, info tab)

R3ME01

MD5 Hash? (right click the game in the game list, properties, info tab, MD5 Hash: Compute)

823df1c3c425f1383529f368f6479359

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

Scans for many things in Metroid Prime 2 are mixed up and are generally in the wrong spots. I scan one thing and the character points to something else.

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Not sure. I suspect that switching renderers maybe a factor. Vulken to dx11

Which versions of Dolphin did you test on? Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which versions of Dolphin used to work?

5.0-3441. Tested back to 3427, skipping 3435.

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

CPU: AMD Anthon X4 845 3.50 GHz. GPU: Readon R 470. OS: Windows 10. 8 GB of RAM. 1 512GB SD card and 2 1TB harddrives.

Is there any other relevant information? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files)

I suspect that it could by my game's ISO. Somehow corrupted during play.

When you uncheck "Store EFB Copies to Texture Only" in Graphics>Hacks, is it fixed?

Just tried that. No affect.

Right click the game in the game list, and select properties. In the info tab, you'll find MD5 Checksum, with a blank and then a button that says "Compute". Press compute, let it do its thing, and then post the result here please.

Did that when I first wrote it, but I'm going to assume that these numbers change.

Made that number just after playing the game and tried to scan some things.

This also happens in Metroid Prime 3 (Trilogy), i.e. R3MP01.

I can confirm that the download that includes the pull request fixes the problem.

For reference, I'm using the Vulkan backend on Windows, GeForce GTX 960.
