What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.
The Wiimote Sounds (The Sounds coming out of the Wiimote) don't work in this game. Tested with Bluetooth Passthrough. This is the first title where I experienced this issue. All other titles seem to work fine. I set the Wiimote Sound Volume to the maximum setting. Normally, Wiimote sounds should be heard in the various microgames. For example, the sound of the razor right at the beginning of the game.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
- Set up BT Passthrough
- Start the game and make sure to set the Wiimote sound volume to a not-too-low setting.
- Play until you played the first microgames.
Expected: Sounds coming out of the Wiimote.
Actual result: No sounds from the Wiimote.
Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.
Yes, 5.0-10121.
Is the issue present in the latest stable version?
Can't test because BT Passtrough is not available in version 5.0.

Oh, and please note that the Wiimote Sounds in the HOME Menu work. (Turning down the volume or up). Only ingame sounds don't work.

They may require more bandwidth than your bluetooth/timings provide.
Do the sounds work over emulated Wii Remotes (we pipe that through speakers.)
Updated by Lettendo over 5 years ago
No, it also doesn't work over emulated Wii Remotes. But I noticed the working sounds over emulated Wii Remotes only come from the left speaker. Is that intended?

Dunno. If it doesn't work over emulated Wii Remotes, then I assume that something else is going on.

I can confirm that sound does not come through with the emulated Wii Remote. I even connected a real Wii Remote with Motion Plus Inside (not by passthrough, but by emulating the adapter), and still it won't play any sounds.

- Subject changed from WarioWare: Smooth Moves - Wiimote Sounds don't work (BT Passthrough) to WarioWare: Smooth Moves - Wiimote Sounds Don't Play
Is this a regression? Did it ever work? (even with emulated Wii remotes)
Updated by JMC4789 over 5 years ago
I asked questions about this, apparently they don't work on any type of Wii Remote.
Updated by Billiard26 over 5 years ago
@JMC, I'm wondering if it EVER worked. That would make it easier to fix.

Tested on emulated Wii Remotes and the sound works for everything but DSP HLE. Tested as far as 4.0 and same results.
