Description

Game Name?

Metroid Prime Trilogy

Game ID? (right click the game in the game list, Properties, Info tab)

R3MP01 (0001000052334d50)

MD5 Hash? (right click the game in the game list, Properties, Verify tab, Verify Integrity button)

735c0d0c16177e3294f5e0faf7a69571

What's the problem? Describe what went wrong.

Since Version 18721, when loading MP Trilogy, everything is slow and laggy. If you boot into Metroid Prime 3, the first text, when starting a new game is very sluggish and the game slows down to the point where you can't even get to start the First Level of the game

What steps will reproduce the problem?

Using Dolphin Version > 18269

Is the issue present in the latest development version? For future reference, please also write down the version number of the latest development version.

Yes, 18626

Is the issue present in the latest stable version?

No, 5.0

If the issue isn't present in the latest stable version, which is the first broken version? (You can find the first broken version by bisecting. Windows users can use the tool https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-green-notice-development-thread-unofficial-dolphin-bisection-tool-for-finding-broken-builds and anyone who is building Dolphin on their own can use git bisect.)

18271

If your issue is a graphical issue, please attach screenshots and record a three frame fifolog of the issue if possible. Screenshots showing what it is supposed to look like from either console or older builds of Dolphin will help too. For more information on how to use the fifoplayer, please check here: https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer

[Attach any fifologs if possible, write a description of fifologs and screenshots here to assist people unfamiliar with the game.]

What are your PC specifications? (CPU, GPU, Operating System, more)

CPU: Intel 8700k
GPU Nvidia 1080 latest drivers as of today
OS: Windows 10 latest Updates as of today

Is there anything else that can help developers narrow down the issue? (e.g. logs, screenshots,
configuration files, savefiles, savestates)

I've attached screenshots of my graphic settings.
I'm also using Bluetooth Passthrough with an Original Wii Mote
Jit-Recompiler is used for the games. PAL-60 Mode

I have a very similar PC (same CPU, 1070 instead of 1080) and I cannot reproduce this (on 5.0-18626), even if I replicate your settings here. I'm guessing it's some setting that's not visible in your screenshot or something like that, can you upload your Dolphin.ini and GFX.ini from File -> Open User Folder -> Config?

(Alternatively: Try deleting those two files to reset the settings to default and see if it still happens. Dolphin needs to be closed for this to work.)

Hey, I've attached these two files. Thank you very much for your help.

That... does in fact run very poorly, yes. That's pretty weird. Let's see if I can figure out why...

It's Skip Presenting Duplicate Frames. Turn it on and it'll work 'correctly' again.

There's definitely an underlying bug here, though. This should be fixed.

Activated it and it works for now. Thank you very much :)
