Description

What's the problem?

There is a strange artefact showing on screen on one (afaik) arena (Mexico arena to be more precisely)

Dolphin version with the problem (as it appears in the title bar, Ex.: "R
4779" or "R 6403M"):

It appears on all versions i have tried : 7128, 7357, 7367

(optional) Dolphin version that does not have the problem:

Operating system and version:
32-bit or 64-bit:

Windows 64-bit

Game ID (as it appears in game properties, Ex.: "GZ2P01" or "RSBE01"):

GFYE69

Build command-line (not on Windows):

Was the ISO a plain dump from disc, compressed and/or scrubbed?

Plain disc dump

Please provide any additional information below.

I have tried all video plugins (dx9,dx11,ogl) but i get the same result on all of them.

Hello=D

Have you tried the OpenGL plugin?
Tried and enable EFB-RAM there and Enable cache.
And looked exactly Texture -Cache.

Downlaod latest verison of Dolphin here: http://www.dolphin-emulator.com/download.html

What are your specs on your PC?

You can also go in the graphics - settings - advanced and disable lighting effects and disable fog (fog)

Haha.. Thanks for your support.. But i'm familiar with the emulator since i've been using it for some time and i've tried all possible combinations :)

And i've already tried :

  • EFB-RAM (with or without cache enabled does not work)
  • Accurate texture cache.. doesn't change anything
  • I've used like 10 different versions but same result
  • I've also tried disabling fog/lighting and played with all options from advanced graphic settings and nothing :)
  • OpenGL, DX11, DX9 .. same thing

I've tested the game on 2 comps :

  • Laptop Core 2 Duo 2Ghz / 2Gb RAM / Radeon 5450
  • Desktop Core 2 Duo e8400 3Ghz / 4Gb RAM / GTX 260

Hi! It was sad and listen!

You've tried everything possible and do with this emulator.
You've even tried the game on 2 PC.

Then this is a problem in this game so this must Dolphin team settle in.
We just wait and hear what Dolphin team say about this.
Hope them see this thread.

Can you provide a 3 frame fifo log showing the issue?

https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer

Please also upload a screenshot of the recorded scene (as it looks in Dolphin) to imgur.

A fifo log of the issue:

A screenshot of the issue using d3d11 (opengl is the same), players are also black apart from the lighting issue, something that doesn't happen with d3d9 (the pic above from tommyhl2.SS shows that),

The characters are now showing up in color on OpenGL. D3D is still afflicted. Software Renderer does not have the large obstruction on the field, but characters are still glitched in their actual shape with polygons jutting out of them and such.

Now that I have the game, I can confirm that OGL is mostly working. Just those weird broken polygons in mexico's "stadium." All the characters and effects are working, but it seems to need zfreeze to make the shadows stop flickering. If anyone could look at the broken polygons on Mexico's stadium, that'd be nice.

I can't get there on software renderer due to the problems introduced by the MMIO branch.
