It would be nice to start brainstorming what to do about the page for a potential release.

At the very least the new logo should be used instead of the old Mario silhouette.

It's inspired by the Firefox and VLC about screens.

Some ideas here:

• Remove the old logo and title and add the new one.

• Move the version number to a different line from the title. A lot of programs seem to be de-emphasizing the version number these days and don't include it in the program title so I think Dolphin could follow suit. I think this is particularly worthwhile for development builds as they are released constantly which makes the version number less meaningful.

• Clean up the copyright information and move it to the bottom of the window.

• De-emphasize the branch/revision/compiled information as it can be a bit messy and is not particularly important to the average user. This is done here by making it a lighter colour.

• Add a link to check for updates. Ideally this would be a function in Dolphin but I think it is perhaps too late to add that now for the next release so a manual check will do.

• Move author/written by/special thanks/etc. information to its own link ("Authors") and get it off the main page to reduce clutter. This could either show author information in the window when clicked or simply open a web page to: github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/graphs/contributors or whatever the proper page is.

• Move some of the trademark information to the copyright line.

• Add a link to the license. I guess this can open a web page to: https://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html or display that text in the window.

• Add a support link to the forums: forums.dolphin-emu.org/Forum-support

That looks really nice, but I don't think the exact time it was compiled is necessary, and I think just the date would look better. Also should check for updates be a hyperlinked word like the other links?

Going to start working on this, basing the design on the mockup provided above.
