Emulator Issues #7808
openController Randomly Disconnecting For Split Second While Recording Input
0%
Description
Game Name?
Only game I've seen this happen in is [Capcom vs. SNK 2 EO]. Tested 2 other games with no problems.
Game ID?
GEOE08
What's the problem? Describe what went wrong in few words.
At random times while recording input during gameplay, an in-game controller disconnect message will pop up for about a frame or two and then immediately disappear. This doesn't happen when not recording input, and I can confirm there is no issue with my Mayflash adapter. Physically disconnecting the controller from the adapter doesn't produce a message, which doesn't make any sense.
What did you expect to happen instead?
Expected the game to see the controller throughout with no in-game message.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
[Don't assume we have ever played the game and know any level names. Be as
specific as possible.]
- Start Recording Input
- Go to any mode and start a match
- At random times (at least for me), the controller will APPEAR to disconnect.
Dolphin 3.5 and 3.5-367 are old versions of Dolphin that have
known issues and bugs, so don't report issues about them and test the
latest Dolphin version first.
Which versions of Dolphin did you test on?
4.0-3783
Does using an older version of Dolphin solve your issue? If yes, which
versions of Dolphin used to work?
Happens as far back as Dolphin 3.5! May happen even further back than that.
