I tested builds from 2-4-6-10 months ago, and still fail. It´s because i think that the problem isn´t a change or a concrete build, the problem started when i installed W10 on my computer, i formatted two times and reinstalled W10 and the problem is the same. Tested with custom or default settings, etc.

It fails on builds that i know to work on W7, then the problem must be between dolphin and W10 when you use OpenGL backend, and try to exit fullscreen mode with esc key.

Exit dialog? never saw that, do you mean "Confirm on Stop"?

To actually make ESC do something you need to assign a hotkey to it, and when that happens you exit game and program at the same time (no dialogs). Just tested on both backends in Win7 SP1.

And yes, it´s confirm on stop what i mean, sorry for the mistake.

https://github.com/dolphin-emu/dolphin/pull/7849 should definitely fix this bug on macOS, not sure about other operating systems.

I can't close the issue, not have the rights xD

Unfortunately with the modal window changes this is now an issue for me on Windows 10 using the Direct3D 11 backend, see this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LtfeiqxciDQ The same issue occurs on Mac.

It seems the modal window is being created within the main window rather than the render window.

Just figured out that the exit confirmation window is showing behind the render window as shown in my video because I have "Keep Window on Top" enabled. That exit window should probably take priority over the render window even when that option is enabled.
